Never give up.
When one door closes, another one opens.
Or you can open the closed door. That's how doors work.
Until you value yourself, you won't value your time.
Until you value your time, you won't do anything with it.
M. Scott Peck
If you make the effort to do the best that you can, regularly, the results will be what they should be, not necessarily what you want them to be, but what they should be. And only you will know whether you can do that.
When given a choice, choose the thing that scares you a little. If it's 100% safe, it's holding you back.
There once was an inflatable boy and an inflatable girl. They went to an inflatable school, where all the teachers were inflatable, all the buildings were inflatable, and all the students were inflatable.
One day, the inflatable boy wondered - well, what if the whole world's inflatable? And what if everyone's inflatable and deflatable? And you know when you inflate someone, because they go like this happy face, rises up a bit and you know when you deflate someone, because they go like this sad face, droops down
And maybe, if you inflate lots of people - maybe then you know you've lived a good life. And maybe....maybe, if you can still inflate people after you're gone, then you've lived an even better one.
... the three great virtues of a programmer: laziness, impatience, and hubris.
There is no time management in my opinion. Take all the stuff that gets you away from work, and just get rid of it. I find that a lot of people are finding something to do that's not [working].
That's not time management, that's wasting time.
Hello everyone. The whole world is watching now. I wish you could see what I can see. Sometimes you have to be up really high to realise how small you are... I'm going over.
